Hey there yall. I wanted to post this picture on here to remind us all to remember those far away. This was one of the pictures I took to use as a Christmas card. I got alot of comments from neighbors. Some I had never met before. It seems someone knows someone who has been over or going over to the sandbox as my big brother always says. This past weekend I was reminded that people have fought to give us the rights we have. Although I really think it is wrong to bad mouth the USA, my family has fought for that right. SO you can burn a flag, spit on the soldiers coming home, yell names at them. Because they have fought for you, you can do all those things. It really is funny when you think of it. People want to yell and "defend" their thoughts and rights but if they weren't fighting for us we wouldn't have those rights. I don't want to get into a debate on if this war is a just war or not. I am only interested in the people and their families who have sacrafic...

A clean house

Ever notice that when your house is clean and in order you feel GREAT! I had a meeting last night, for Longaberger, here at my house. B helped me clean up when she got home from school. I have to tell you I really thought she was going to be very mouthy about cleaning. She wasn't. She volunteered to help. The last room we cleaned up was the computer room. She was a great help! Boy I was very surprised with her. She told me today she has to work Thursday night. She is loving her job. She works at a Panera Bread not to close to home. She loves making the salads and sandwhiches. She makes a great Greek Salad. Sarah has a myspace now. I am not sure how I feel about it. I have the password and can go on whenever. She knows if I find something on there that shouldn't be there she will not have it any longer. She has a few friends on it and wants to be online all the time now. I told her that all homework and chores must be done before she can go on. So far it has helped keep her o...

President's Day

I can say today has been a fairly good one. I woke up and took Noah to JcPenny's. We were going there to get him some jeans hopefully on clearance but nope. He got 2 shirts and a jogging suit. Sarah on the other hand got 2 Shirts, 3 pair of jeans, a hoodie, and 4 cameos all for 74.97. I did good!!! Very good. Sarah even liked what I picked and she wasn't with me. I have to say that in itself was great. Sarah is getting to be picky on what she wears. So for her to like anything I pick is good. Yesterday Sarah had a cheering competition. They did thier best but came in 5th. Mike was very upset and said they deserved better. I was home so I didn't see it yet. Mike did order the event on DVD so I can see it. She has another competition on March 2. Hopefully they will do better. Noah Sarah, Mike and 2 friends went swimming today at the community center. If it gets any warmer here they could go in the pool. Of course this is only today as we are expecting Freezing Rain tomorrow. ...

first blog

Well I figured I should start this post by saying hi. This weekend has been a busy one. We had Friday off from school and the kids loved that. I was busy driving kids everywhere. Later that night I went to a jewerly party for a neighbor. It was nice. Then yesterday I was sick. Noah had the stomach bug and gave it to me. I stayed in bed the whole day. Sarah had a cheering competition so her hair had to be done. I couldn't do it and neither could Mike so I called a freind who was happy to let her duaghter come and do it. It came out cute this morning. I will post pictures when I can. Well I guess thats it for now.
