13 now a teenager

Wow can you believe she is now 13! I really have to stop blinking. Seems like yesterday she was just learning to walk. Time is going by. I remember thinking I would never grow up. Oh how I wanted to be a grown up when I was in my teens..... how I laugh at myself sometimes!
Well she turned 13 and Mike and I are speechless. She had a party at a new place where you make a video and a music cd. Sarah had fun and so did her friends. Everyone got to take a picture of themselves and the video and music cd's home in thier goody bags! Of course she had 4 boys there. It was funny how they kept totally separate from the girls. Daddy was happy! I just smile because I know what is coming next! Life is funny. Sarah is excited that she got a Zune for her birthday. I have already downloaded a few songs for her. I guess I should show her how to do it so I don't have too. Well from her friends she got alot of clothes. So I guess she will be wearing them for a little while. She even wanted to wear them to go to church today. I told her no. Easter and Jeans I don't think so. She can wear them next week. I have to say I think she chose a nice group of girls to invite. (boys too). They all seemed to have fun and the one quite girl sang her heart out! Well enough for now.

Alot has happened in the last two months. First let me start with Sarah and her DEBUT singing. She is in a class where they learn from music and they put show on. She loves singing (I have no idea where she got that just kidding). I knew she could sing but I didn't really know she could really sing. I was sitting in the audience that first night of the show all proud but when she got up to sing the last song of the night I was BLOWN AWAY! She had me speechless. I hope she makes you speechless as well. This class is really a nice class. She has alot of friends in the class. I have been given glances into the woman Sarah is becoming and it takes my breath away. Wow is all I can say! It doesn't look like the video is going to work tonight so I will have to do it tom. after I get home from work. Wish it would save! I was going to put up one of Noah as well but I guess I will have to do it tom as well. He got to sing at Church with the Adult choir. He sang Away in a Manger verses 1 ...

How can my heart hurt anymore? What do I have to learn to stop the heart ache?

How can we say goodbye to someone that means the world to you? How do you let them go? The pain and hurt that we feel is so unreal. Grandma left this earth November 17, 2019. 9 months, and 15 days after Mom left.  Two women that helped to mold me into who I am today, left me.  They are no longer here to ask questions of, or laugh with, learn of the past from. They left. The pain of losing them will never leave me.  How could it?! They taught me to be the women I am today.  Grandma was someone who always excepted me. Always showed me how to love others. Listen to others.  Care for others.  Really, just to be there for others when I am needed.  The pain I feel is indescribable.  I have never had my heart broken like this before.  Never had to face anything so hard.  You see, I was so Blessed when it came to losing people I loved.  The first person I loved, that I remember losing, was my Grandfather, George. G randad was someone ...

Happy 4th of July!

Okay so today is the 4th of July and I was looking for a cool picture of a flag to put on my blog. I really didn't see on I liked. But I found this picture of the sky I took when we went to Maryland to visit Aunt Betty a few years ago. I think the sky may have looked like this on that morning Francis Scott Key wrote the National Anthem. Today is a great day for this country. I am very proud of the service men and women that have served our country. Willingly giving up a part of their lives for us. Sometimes giving up their lives for freedom. So Thank you one and all. Sometimes saying thank you just doesn't seem enough. Sometimes it is more than enough. So if you see someone in uniform just say thanks. You might just be surprised by the reaction of the service man/woman. I remember riding by the Armory a few years ago and their was a group of protesters on front of the armory. They were screaming at the men in uniform. I was angry and I could tell Mike was as well. He wanted to ...
