Having too much fun!

I just got this picture from my husband. He took it at dinner on Saturday night. We went to Outback Steak house. Grandma said she never had a Bloomin Onion so we got one. She enjoyed it very much. I like the picture. It has become one of my favorites! I was told by a neighbor we look alike. So what do you think? Do we?
I went and picked Grandma up from her house and brought her down to mine for the week. I have to say this week has been a GREAT one. We have talked, and talked, and talked some more. Grandma has shared alot about her childhood, married live, adulthood. I am very blessed to have such a great woman in my life. We haven't really stopped since she got here. I was going to take her to crayola factory today but we got sidetracked and just talked and played yahtzee. She came out and talked to me as I cleaned the pool up. We ate lunch and played yahtzee with a friend. We finally went to the store this evening to get supplies for baking. So tomorrow is my baking day with Grandma. I hope we get to the crayola factory this week but if we don't it just means I have to bring her down again for another week.

Alot has happened in the last two months. First let me start with Sarah and her DEBUT singing. She is in a class where they learn from music and they put show on. She loves singing (I have no idea where she got that just kidding). I knew she could sing but I didn't really know she could really sing. I was sitting in the audience that first night of the show all proud but when she got up to sing the last song of the night I was BLOWN AWAY! She had me speechless. I hope she makes you speechless as well. This class is really a nice class. She has alot of friends in the class. I have been given glances into the woman Sarah is becoming and it takes my breath away. Wow is all I can say! It doesn't look like the video is going to work tonight so I will have to do it tom. after I get home from work. Wish it would save! I was going to put up one of Noah as well but I guess I will have to do it tom as well. He got to sing at Church with the Adult choir. He sang Away in a Manger verses 1 ...

How can my heart hurt anymore? What do I have to learn to stop the heart ache?

How can we say goodbye to someone that means the world to you? How do you let them go? The pain and hurt that we feel is so unreal. Grandma left this earth November 17, 2019. 9 months, and 15 days after Mom left.  Two women that helped to mold me into who I am today, left me.  They are no longer here to ask questions of, or laugh with, learn of the past from. They left. The pain of losing them will never leave me.  How could it?! They taught me to be the women I am today.  Grandma was someone who always excepted me. Always showed me how to love others. Listen to others.  Care for others.  Really, just to be there for others when I am needed.  The pain I feel is indescribable.  I have never had my heart broken like this before.  Never had to face anything so hard.  You see, I was so Blessed when it came to losing people I loved.  The first person I loved, that I remember losing, was my Grandfather, George. G randad was someone ...

Happy 4th of July!

Okay so today is the 4th of July and I was looking for a cool picture of a flag to put on my blog. I really didn't see on I liked. But I found this picture of the sky I took when we went to Maryland to visit Aunt Betty a few years ago. I think the sky may have looked like this on that morning Francis Scott Key wrote the National Anthem. Today is a great day for this country. I am very proud of the service men and women that have served our country. Willingly giving up a part of their lives for us. Sometimes giving up their lives for freedom. So Thank you one and all. Sometimes saying thank you just doesn't seem enough. Sometimes it is more than enough. So if you see someone in uniform just say thanks. You might just be surprised by the reaction of the service man/woman. I remember riding by the Armory a few years ago and their was a group of protesters on front of the armory. They were screaming at the men in uniform. I was angry and I could tell Mike was as well. He wanted to ...
